Frank A. Sirianni, 68, of Menomee Falls, and a former resident of Hudson, died of a heart ailment at Community Memorial Hospital i Menomonee Falls Monday, August 19.
He was born in Cumberland, January 20, 1917, the sone of Natale and Lucy (Ranallo) Sirianni. He attended Hudson High School, graduating in 1934. He received his bachelor's degree in 1938 from River Falls State College, now UW-River Falls.
In 1939 he was married to Pasque (Peggy) Richie.
Mr. Siriani was elected to the Menomonee Falls School Board in 1982 after a long career as a teacher and administrator in the school district. He resigned a year later because of health.
Sirianni began his career in 194, teaching English and social studies at Menomonee Falls High School, where he also coached the debate team.
He became principal in Lincoln Elementary School in 1950 and served in that capacity until 1969, when he became director of secondary education for the school district.
In 1979, he became a consultant to the school district until his retirement in 1982.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy, and four children: Stephen of Bay City, Michigan; Patricia Smith of Cedarburg; Margaret Orth of Thiensville; and Shirley Fischer of Nennah. Also surviving are two brothers, Herman of Greenfield and William of Cumberland; and five sisters, Mrs. Sam (Lizzie) Dabruzzi, Mrs. Carmel Muckenhirn and Mrs. Antonet-Marie Hollen, all of Hudson, Mrs. Mary Ranallo of Milwaukee and Mrs. Fred (Angeline) Linehan of River Falls.
Preceding him in death were three brothers, Gabriel, Joseph and Albert and a sister, Margie.
Serices were at St. Mary's Church in Menomonee Falls, Wednesday, August 21, with burial in the church cemetery.
