Eleanor R. Erickson, 84, a retired substitute schoolteacher, died Dec. 2, 1990, in Hampton [Virginia].
Mrs. Erickson, a native of Key West, Fla., had retired from the Norfolk city schools. She was the widow of Raymond S. Erickson Sr. She was a member of Norview Baptist Church and Berkley Chapter 52, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a daughter, Sonja E. Pritchard of Virginia Beach; two sons, John R. Erickson of Slidell, La., and Raymond Erickson Jr. of Hampton; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. James Bradshaw. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Arlington National Cemetery .
Hampton is an independent city in Virginia, a city that does not belong to any particular county. It's located on the southeastern end of the Virginia Peninsula.
