Stella M. Lomnes, 87, of 306 Second St. So., Bayport, died Tuesday, April 29, at Lakeview Memorial Hospital in Stillwater.
Memorial services are Thursday, May 1, at the People's Congregational Church in Bayport with the Rev. J. Bradley McNaught officiating.
The family received friends at the Jones-Bradshaw-Hauge chapel in Stillwater Wednesday. Memorials are preferred to the church or Arthritis Foundation.
Stella M. Johnson was born in Hudson Jan. 31, 1893, the daughter of Martin and Sigrid L. (Hoyass) Johnson.
She attended the Hudson schools and was graduated from Hudson High school in the class of 1912.
On Aug. 8, 1912 she was married to Elmer Lomnes, who died Feb. 5, 1968.
They first made their home in Stillwater and then in 1925 moved to Bayport where they have since lived.
She is survived by a son, Eldon Lomnes of Lompac, Calif., and a daughter Murilyn (Mrs. William Skeath) of Bayport; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. David M. (Ovida) McLennan of Ventura, Calif.
