David F. Heffron, a forner resident of Hudson, died early Monday morning, July 14, at St. Joseph's hospital in St. Paul after a long illness.
David Heffron was born near Hudson, November 27, 1893, the son of the late William Heffron and Elizabeth (Henry) Heffron. His early working years were spent in railroading, as a switchman and brakeman.
In 1924 he moved to St. Paul where he operated a barber and beauty shoppe for many years. More recently he has been engaged in the tavern business. At the time of his death he was the owner and operator of the "Knotty Pine Inn" on West Seventh street.
He leaves a widow, Agnes B. Heffron; a son Michael Heffron; two daughters, Patricia Heffron who lives in the family home at 1958 Palace Avenue and Mrs. Paul Ramstead (Jean) who resides in Minnesapolis; five sisters and two brothers, Mrs. F. C. Mode (Gertrude) of Portland, Ore., Mrs. A. D. Bell (Jane) of Bayport, Minn., Mrs. T. B. Falck (anneO of Buchanan, North Dakota, Mrs. Frank Bonnes (Gladys) of Chicago, Illinois, and Miss Helen D. Heffron, of Hudson, Robert Heffron of Huson and Earl Heffron of Sunnyside, Washington. Four brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery.
