George J. Hennessey, 708 St. Croix St., died suddenly at Hudson Memorial Hospital Monday mornng of a heart attack. He was stricken at his home only three hours before his death.
Born in Hudson August 9, 1899, he was the son of John and Anna Murphy Hennessey.
He attended the North Hudson school and Hudson High School.
In 1929 he was married to Anna Christoph in Hudson.
For 39 years he was employed by the Omaha Railway repair shops in North Hudson and for the past year has been with the American Hoist and Derrick in St. Paul.
Funeral services were at St. Patrick's Catholic Church Wednesday with Msgr. John Owens officiating. Burial was in St. Patrick's Cemetery.
He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Jane, a nurse in St. Paul; a brother, Arthur Hennessey in North Hudson; two sisters, Mrs. Alfred Adams of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. F. W. Van Dyke of Oregon City, Oregon.
