Ronald Grass, 53, of Hudson, died Sunday, January 11 from an acute heart attack.
Born February 19, 1950 n River Falls to Paul and Cebena Worrell Grass, he grew up in Hudson, attending grade school and high school in the Hudson School district.
As a young man, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served in the Phillipines during the Vietnam era.
On February 24, 1973, he was married to Kathleen Heiberg at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hudson.
Ron was employed as an operator for Andersen Windows for over 20 years, until his retirement in 1997.
Preceding him in death were his father, Paul Grass, and his inlaws, Stanley and Mary Heiberg.
Surviving are his wife, Kathy; two sons, Jonathan (Lisa) Grass of Hudson and Randy (Kris) Grass of Baldwin; two daughters, Amanda (Michael) Busby and Jennifer Grass, both of Hudson; four grandchldren; his mother, Cebena Kringle of Tucson, Arizona; and four siblings, Paul Jr. (Linda) Grass of Tucson, Janet (Roger) Dierks and Geraldine Kidd, both of Hudson, and Chris Grass of Alaska.
A memorial service was January 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hudson. Burial was in Willow River Cemetery.
