Harold Staberg, 45, of Somerset died Friday, April 2 of a heart attack while dining with his family at the New Richmond Golf Club Restaurant. He was pronounced dead at Holy Family Hospital later that evening.
He was born May 1, 1936 in Minnesota to Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Staberg. Mr. Staberg was employed at The Arsenal in New Brighton, Minnesota.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie, and daughter, Lisa of Somerset; two sisters, Mrs. Carl Noack, Stillwater, and Mrs. Edith Morris, Stillwater; two brothers, Donald Staberg, Stillwater, and Roger Staberg of Duquette, Minnesota and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Monday, April 5 from the Cullen Funeral Home in New Richmond wtih funeral services on Tueday, April 6 from St. Anne's Catholic Church in Somerset. Pallbearers were James, Daniel and Barry Staberg, Robert Swanson, Gary Knutson and Sherman Belisle.
