ANDERS OLOFSSON FAMILY
We first find farmer Anders Olsson in the household records at Norra Forsnäs, Grasmark, Varmland, Sweden on page 143 for the years 1766-1771. This was the earliest records of the household on microfilm.
Anders was born here in the year 1738. His wife, Marit Hàkansdotter was born at Getkärn,Sunne, Varmland in the year 1741. The first child listed in the household records, a daughter, Ingabor was born in 1766. The second child, a son, Jons was born in 1768.
Later research we find two previous children. Olof born 16 December 1762 and died 2 February 1763. Karin born the 1st of January and died later the same year.
Living with Anders household are a sister Ingine Olsdotter born here in 1739 and brother Lars Olsson
born here in 1731. Lars left to work for a neighbor farmer Jan Svensson in 1771.
On page 65 of the household records for the years of 1772-1777 we find: The fifth child, a daughter, Kerstin is born the 19th of June 1772. She died shortly, 4th of April 1773. Son Jons died of smallpox the following year, 27 March 1774. Son Hăkan, the 6th child was born 27 May 1775. Anders sister Ingerd went to Norra Brane in 1774, returning in 1775. Brother Lars came back to join the family in 1773.
HHR records 1780-1786 page 65 show; Son Olof was born 24 May 1780. Brother Lars Olsson died sometime after 1780. Sister Ingerd left for Östra Rintetorp in 1786. Daughter Ingebor went to Östra Rintetorp in 1785 and returned home the following year.
HHR records 1786-1790 page 163 show; Daughter Ingebor married Bengt Ersson 26 December 1787. He was born in 1752. He came to Forsnäs in 1787 as a worker. Anders Olsson died the 14th of October 1789 of gout.
HHR records 1790-1794 page 86 show; Håkan left to work for a neighbor Anders Håkansson from 1792 to 1793. He returned home in 1793 and left for Brandsbol in 1794. Mother Marit and son Olof stayed in Forsnäs.
HHR records 1795-1799 Forsnäs show; Mother Marit, son Olof and son Hàkan living in the household of Bengt Ersson. Son Hàkan left for Ragvallik in 1796.
HHR records 1800-1804 Forsnäs show; Marit and son Olof still with Bengt Ersson family. Olof left for Sodra Granbäcktorp in 1803. We find Håkan in the HHR of Soderlitorp 1800-1804 married to Britta Larsdotterand their son Anders. They are in the household of Lars Jansson, Britta's parents
HHR records 1805-1809 Forsnäs shows mother Marit Håkansdotter died the 17th of May 1807 of pleurisy.
HHR records 1814-1819 Rintetorp page 149; We find Olof Andersson living in the household with brother Håkan Andersson. Olof is married to Ingerd Ersdotter, born 1876, They were married 26 December 1814. They both came from Sunne in 1814. They went back to Sunne the next year.
