Lorraine S. Lorenz-LeBlanc, 74, a lifetime resident of Hudson, died Friday, November 26, at the Christian Community Home in Hudson, where she had resided since September of this year.
She was born in Hudson, June 18, 1925, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Munkenhausen) Harwell. She attended St. Patrick's Parochial School and graduated from Hudson High School.
During most of her working career, she was employed at a number of restaurants in this area, including Larry's Supper Club in Lakeland, the Trail 12 Cafe, the Hudson House Inn and the JR Ranch, all in Hudson.
On October 21, 1944, in Hudson she was married to Oliver Lorenz, who preceded her in death in August 1978.
She was united in marriage August 1, 1987 to Larry C. LeBlanc. He has resided with her at the Christian Community Home.
She liked playing cards, bingo and fishing. Her other enjoyments included crafts and sewing, crocheting, embroidery and making quilts.
Survivng are her husband, Larry; two daughters, Judy (Charles) Kahler and Debbie (Steven) Staberg, both of Hudson; two sons, James (Carey) Lorenz and Terry (Jan Lorenz, both of Hudson; three brothers, William Harwell, George (Bonnie) Harwell and Joseph (Sylvia) Harwell, all of Hudson; eight grandchildren, Rick Kahler, Michael Kahler, Frank Lorenz, Amanda Lorenz, Jessica Staberg, Elizabeth Staberg, Brandon Lorenz and Aimee Lorenz.
Mass of Christian Burial, November 30, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Hudson with the Rev. James Dabruzzi officiating. Burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery. O'Connell Familu Funeral Home.
