Anthony (Tony) Zezza, 69, of R3, Hudson, died Wednesday night, December 19, at River Falls area hospital of cance.r
He was born Septembber 16, 1910 in Cumberland, the son of Joseph and Antonia (Schullo) Zezza.
He came to Hudson with his parents in 1914.
On July 14, 1934 he was married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church to Marguerite Fitzgerald.
He was employed as a supervisor at Ford Motor Company in St. Paul for 35 years retiring in 1967. Since retirement he has been farming in Troy township.
Surviving are his wife, Marguerite; a son, Nevin of Trout Brook Road, Hudson; a daughter, Mrs. Ferris (Kathryn) Tulgren of R3, Hudson; three brothers, Louis, Joseph and Lawrence, all of North Hudson; five sisters, Mrs. Lucille Bonnes of Hudson, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Sorenson of North Hudson, Mrs. Frank (Madeline) Garavalia of Willernie, Minnesota, Mrs. Joseph (Laura) Lee of White Bear, Minnesota and Mrs. Gordon (ann) McCunn of Neenah; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Daniel and Thomas.
Services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Hudson, with Rev. Thomas Keilen officiating. Mrs. Elsie Sandquist was organist and Hope choir sang.
Visiitation at the Swanson-Murphy Funeral Home. Interment was in St. Patrick's cemetery. Pallbearers were Gordon Best, Felix Marino, Richard Cambronne, Kenneth Sorensen, Gilmore Solberg and Daniel Solberg.
