Katherine Maitrejean of New Richmond died suddenly on July 27, 1997. She was 74 years old.
Katherine was born on November 3, 1922,in Erin Prairie to Owen and Bridget (Casey) Coughlin. She married Wilfred Maitrejean in New Richmond on September 27, 1958.
Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Bridget Coughlin, and her brother, Tom Coughlin.
She is survived by her husband, Wilfred; her daughters, Patricia (Pat) Scott and Jean (Darwin) Green; and her sisters, Mary Rose Coughlin and Theresa (Don) Mahoney.
Funeral services were held on July 30, 1997, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Richmond with Father Allen Bradley officiating.
Pallbearers were Edward Maitrejean, Robert Maitrejean, Vernall Larson, John Ball, Charles Zahnow and Don Mahoney.
Burial was in the Immaculate Conception cemetery.
