OBITUARY

Daniel Denker

Daniel Paul Denker was born to Dennis and Lori Denker on Oct. 17, 1970 at Park
Rapids. He lived with his parents and sister, Charee, in Stacy.

Dan attended school in North Branch. There he was active in footballl and
wrestling. His interests included shop and mechanical classes. He had planned
to attend a vo-tech school in preparation for a career in auto mechanics and
body repair. While a student he also worked parttime in his uncle's body shop
and at Johnson's Super Value in Forest Lake.

Dan was baptized into the Christian faith at St. John's Lutheran Church on
Dec. 13, 1970. He publicly confessed his faith in his Lord in the Rite of
Confirmation two years ago on May 12, 1985. Following a motorcycle accident
and hospitalization at St. Paul Ramsey Medical Center, Dan went to be with the
Lord in his heavenly home last Thursday, Aug. 27, at the age of 16 years, 10
months, and 10 days.

Dan was preceeded in death by his paternal grandfather, Henry Denker. He is
survived by his parents and sister, paternal grandmother Verge Denker of North
Branch, maternal grandparents Clayton and Marge Jendro of Cambridge, maternal
great-grandparents Nilton and Edna Gerdin of Cambridge, nine aunts and uncles,
14 cousins and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 31, at St. John's Lutheran Church in
Weber.

Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery in Harris.
