August 28, 1928
Dear Sir:-
Andrew N. Peterson was born in Helgeland, Norway, June 2nd 1890; parents Jensine Jenson and Conrad Pederson, both deceased. His uncle N. J. Jenson Sr., of Hudson, Wisconsin is a brother of Andrew Peterson's mother. Mrs. N. J.
Jenson Sr. is a sister of his father; so there is blood relationship on both sides.
N.J. Jenson, his only living uncle in America, sent a ticket for him in 1904 or 1905. He made his hme with them until about 1909.
I am a daughter of N. J. Jenson. Please write us or put us in touch with those who can give us what data is available.
Mother and father are stunned at the catastrophe that overtook him and hope he had a decent burial.
Thanking you for anything you may be able to do, I remain, respectfully,
Mrs. J. A. Stayberg

Dear Sir:-
Find enclosed pictures of the grave and funeral arrangements of the Funeral of A. N. Peterson. These pictures were taken after the Funeral and the elder man is J. S. Baker, the sexton of the Cemetery and the other is myself.
Mr. Peterson was killed by a tree kicking sideways off the stump and striking Mr. Peterson on the temperal bone crushing the skull. His death was immediate. I have a letter from his sister Mrs. Anderson and am asking where to send his effects. There are some things at a Hotel in Spokane, Wash., mostly working clothes according to the police whom I had examine them. The Fender Lumber and Box Co. was the name of the Company for whom Mr. Peterson was working at the time of his death.
Please advise as to the things at Spokane.
Yours truly, Ralph B. Kenison
