Henry W. Denker, 64, of North Branch passed away at the Chisago Lakes Hospital
on Friday, February 21.

Henry was born in Clare, Michigan on Jan. 20, 1922 to Theodore and Grace
Denker, the seventh of eleven children. He grew to manhood in the Michigan
area and joined the Coast Guard during World War II.

On January 1, 1945 he was united in marriage to Vergil Lorraine Ackerman of
Minneapolis. To this union three children were born.

During their early marriage, they lived in Michigan and in Bloomington,
Minnesota. For the past 28 years they lived in the Cambridge and North Branch
areas. He worked 29 years at F.M.C. in Fridley.

Henry is survived by his loving wife Verg; two sons: David of Isanti, Dennis of
Stacy; one daughter, Carolyn Lindquist of North Branch; nine grandchildren; two
brothers: Russell of Florida, Ted of Michigan; four sisters: Josephine Reinike,
Betsy Ford, Geraldine Wood and Clarice Kelly, all of Michigan; and many other
relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.

The funeral service was held on February 24 at the Malmquist Chapel in North
Branch with the Rev. Merlyn Lohrike officiating. Music was provided by Betty
Beecher and Vernon Johnson.

Interment in the spring will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Harris.
