PEARL VIOLET KRINKE
Pearl Violet Krinke was born on May 18, 1911 in Cambridge to Alfred and
Grace Olander and died on January 28, 1984 in Rush City.
Pearl graduated from the Braham High School in 1928 and attended Cambridge
Teachers Training School in 1929. She taught for three years in Ogilvie
Elementary School until her marriage to Lawrence Krinke on June 3, 1932.
The couple farmed west of Rush City until her husband's death when she moved
to Rush City.
Pearl is survived by two sons; Harlan of Marine on St. Croix and David of
Harrison, NE; grandchildren: Dawn, Wade, Chad and Tara Krinke of Marine on St.
Croix; Tami Carte and Holly Krinke of Napa, CA and Kelly Krinke, Harrison, NE;
sisters: Adeline Olander of Cambridge, Helen Sahlin of Braham, Forraine Kerr of
Leavenworth, KS; brothers: Maurice Olander of Roseville and Curtis Olander of
Cambridge.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 31 at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in
Braham. The Rev. Edward Behling officiated. A duet was sung by newphews Arlen
and Arden Krinke: "Amazing Grace" and "How Great Thou Art." Casketbearers were
Dean Krinke, Gene Krinke, Tim Krinke, Steve Olander, Roger Kee and Frank
Sahlin. Interment will be in the spring at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery at
Rush Lake.
