Young Man Paases Away in Anchorage
Services were held Thursday, July 2, for Alan Eugene Hawkinson, of Anchorage,
Alaska at Beals Mortuary Chapel in Forsyth. The Rev. Clarence Spurlock
officiated.
Solist was Susan Stantion and organist was Rita Martens. Pallbearers were
James Russell, Jr., Wade Russell, Gregg Russell, Rick Hawkinson, Daryl Hinther
and Edwin Wheadon. Interment followed at Forsyth Cemetery.
Hawkinson, 28, was born November 1, 1952 in Miles City and passed away June 27,
in an accidental fall, in a home in Anchorage.
He was a truck driver and had lived in Alaska since 1979.
He was the son of Harold and Leone Russell Hawkinson, and attended schools in
Carterville, Billings and Great Falls. He had also lived in Cascade and
Missoula.
Survivors include a daughter, Kimberly Jean Hawkinson, his father in Anchorage,
his mother Leone Bice of Missoula, a brother Gerald Hawkinson of Great Falls, a
grandmother Lucille Hawkinson of Miles City and an aunt Eleen Stanton, of
Garfield County [and an uncle, Elmer Hawkinson of Rosebud; and an uncle, Dale
Hawkinson of Kirkland, Washington].
