Doris E. Larson, 76
Doris E. Larson of New Richmond died on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2001 at her home. She was born in Roberts on Oct. 25, 1924 to John and Bertha (Miller) DeWitt. Doris married Lester H. Larson on May 21, 1948 in New Richmond.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; two brothers, John and Leo; and one sister, Thelma.
She is survived by her sons, Gerald and Wayne (Diane) Larson all of New Richmond; daughter Deanna (Jerry) Veenendall all of Baldwin; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister Gladys (Wif) Weber of New Richmond.
Visitation was held Monday at the Beebe Mortuary in New Richmond. Funeral services were Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2001 at the First Lutheran Church in New Richmond with Pastor Larry Jorstad and Paster Jean Gfall officiating. Organist was Matthew Frable and soloist was Rick Larson.
Active casketbearers were Rick, Brandon and Brody Larson, Todd Bottolfson, Monty DeWitt and Phillip Larson. Honorary casketbearers were Alina and Shaunna Veenendall. Interment was in the New Richmond Cemetery.
