Thomas born in Halifax or Lunenberg VA. Married about 1779. Elizabeth born in Shanandoah Co. VA. Thomas served in the American Revolution in the Virginia Continental Line. About 1787, Thomas, his brother John, and two Sivley brothers, and all their familes moved to Jefferson Co. TN. After several years there, Thomas and the Sivleys moved to Madison Co. AL.
