He grew up in Marshall Michigan and resided there until moving to Ohio. He worked in the restaurant industry for many years in management. While living in Marshall he had owned and operated the former Marshall Music Store in downtown Marshall in the late 1990's. He was a talented musician who enjoyed playing guitar and writing music. Several of his songs were copyrighted, and he had appeared on TBS television. He also taught guitar. Died from a drug overdose.
