Rev. Josiah Hartwell Dew

(19 Jun 1864 - 25 Aug 1921)

No children. Josiah was a graduate of Furman University and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville KY. From about 1890 until his death in 1921, he was a renowned evangelist. Both Josiah and Annie died in Ridgecrest NC. They are both buried at Magnolia Cemetery, Latta SC. His marker reads: "Evangelist, J.H. Dew. An heir of God through Christ"
