HE WAS BORN IN ST, JOSEPH,IL JULY 4TH,1878 BUT HAD LIVED IN URBANA MOST OF HIS LIFE. HE WAS THE SON OF WILLIAM AND SARAH SWEARINGEN MCGRAW. HE MARRIED SEPT 29, 1903 TO MYRTLE PRICE. BESIDE HIS WIDOW,HE IS SURVIVED BY TWO DAUGHTERS,MRS. ICYLE POLL,URBANA.AND THELMA MCGRAW AT HOME:THREE SONS CLARENCE AND HENRY,URBANA,AND CORPORAL GERALD OF CAMP HOOD,TEXAS: ONE SISTER MRS. MINNIE SLADE,URBANA AND 10 GRANDCHILDREN. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE AT 2:30 PM. WEDNESDAY AT THE CHURCH OF GOD,URBANA,WITH REVEREND CARL CARDEN OFFICATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN CLEMENTS CEMETARY,NORTH OF URBANA. THE BODY WAS TAKEN FROM JEANNES FUNERAL HOME ST, JOSEPH TO THE URBANA HOME MONDAY AFTERNOON.
