Whitmore, Samuel, Middletown. Invt. £646-07-00. Taken 3 March, 1745-6, by Ephraim Adkins and James Ward. Will dated 17 July, 1745.I, Samuel Whitmore of Middletown, in the County of Hartford, do make this my last will and testament: I give unto my brother Seth Whitmore all and every part of my estate, both real and personal and credit (except the legacies and particular estate herein otherwise disposed of), he paying all my just debts and funeral charges. I give to my brother Francis Whitmore all my Long Meadow lott and the sum of £60 money, old tenor, to be paid him when he shall arrive to lawful age. I give to my sister Martha Savage £100 old tenor. I give the two children of my sister Abigail Clark decd., to each of them, £5 old tenor when they shall arrive to lawful age. I give to my kinsman Daniel Warner the equal half of my mare. And I appoint my brother Seth Whitmore sole executor.
