NOTE - Elizabeth’s husband was Sebastian Worland, who is the brother of David’s wife, Teresa. The guardianship record contains the following: Complete Record Book 1, Common Pleas Court. Pg 207. Elizabeth Worland, David Newton as the guardian of Alfred, Elizabeth and Thomas Worland and Robert Worland as the guardian of Vincent, William, Mary Ann, Nancy, John M. and Francis Worland in a petition for a partition of real estate. Elizabeth stated that she married Sebastian Worland in 1850 and that he died November 27, 1858 in Liberty Twp. Three children were Sebastian’s by a former marriage and the others, that is: Vincent, William, Mary Ann, Nancy, John M., David and Francis were from his marriage to Elizabeth. At his death Sebastian owned real estate in section 13, township 12, range 7 of 47 acres. Elizabeth was set off the one third value of the land including the dwelling and the children were set off the remainder. Sept. 1859
