May and 29 Nov 1733; s/o Alexander and ____; m. ca 17`14 to Mary Edmonston; d. by 17 Apr 1758; d/o Archibald Edmonston and Jane Beall (M&VC): Taxable in Rock Creek Hundred in 1719 (BB); with his brother William and?or his brother-in-law James Edmonston he patented "Lambrith", "Prevention" and "Batchelor"s Forest"; his fathers's Will of 1744 mentions he is deceased; his widow m/2 by 30 Jun 1737 Thomas Catteral (Cottrell). 27 Jan 1717: Archibald Edmonston, carpenter of Prince Georges County made a Deed of Gift of 206 acres called "Bear Garden Enlarged" to James Beall, planter, and my daughter Mary, his wife. (PGLR F.25; I.550)
15 Jun 1731: James Beall, with William Beall and James Edmonston, sold twp parcels of "Lambrith": 250 acres "Delight" to Thomas iles and 100 acres "Stoney Point" to John Maddin. (PGLR Q,282).

To daughter Jane and heirs, 240 acres of "Lambrinth", to be laid out as near as may be to dwelling plantation of Samuel Beall.
To James Edmionston and heirs , 1/2 of "Brothers Content", to be laid out as near as may be to dwelling plantation of Michael Cranen (?Craven).
[I have several small children which are illiterate and unlearned and several debts, so I bequeath to well beloved wife Mary all remaining real estate & personal for life for maintaining & educating children;at her decease to be divided between son Alexander, daughter Rachel, son Robert, son Archibald, son James, son Allen, son Thomas and younger daughter; if any die before of age, their estate shall be divided equally amongst their brothers]
Testor empowers James Edmonston and William Beall, Sr., to reservey lands on or near Rock Creek, viz.: "Labrinth", "Prevention" and "Batchelor's Forest" and to make such alterations and additions in said land as they shall think proper.Test: Jane Edmonston, Archibald Edmonston, Jr. Ann Simson (PG Wills1.220; MCW VII.45; Wills 20.822)
