Vitus Herbert, b. bef 1707 and d. 1750 in St Mary's County. He married by 1727 Elizabeth who survived him. Margaret Fresco says that Elizabeth is Elizabeth Head, dau. of Adam Head and Ann Sewall, but I'm not totally convinced of that. Their children:
1. Michael Herbert, b. 1737 and d. 1774. He married Barbara.
2. Matthew, b. bef 1750 and d. 1777 married Mary.
3. William, Sr. (see above) who married Priscilla Griffin.
4. Bennet, living in 1774.
