Page 201. At the request of Richard Thompson of St Mary's County, Gent, the following power of attorney was recorded Apr 8, 1730.
I, John Wilson of St Mary's County, for divers good reasons, have appointed my loving friend, Mr. Richard Thompson of the same County, Gent, my true and lawful attorney, to recover of all persons in Maryland, all debts and sums of money and tobacco which are now due to me from any persons, and to deal with any suits, affairs, and businesses, and as my factor or agent, to make any composition or agreement for or concerning the premises. Signed Feb 18, 1729/30 - John Wilson. Wit - Robt Ford "(90)" Mark Lampton.
