Some researchers discount the report that her father Justinian Snow as shown in Register of Maryland's Heraldic Families Vol 1. She if often said to be the daughter of John Snow and Judith Hill. Her mother's Christian name may have been "Erdyth" or "Erdythe" instead of Judith.
