Married Margaret Magruder, daughter of James Magruder and Barbara Coombsand made his home at Dunblane. His will was filed in Prince George'sCounty, but for lack of witnesses it was not probated; however, the wifeand children seem to have abided by its provisions; the wife her dower;Francis, Dunblane, "formerly the home of his grandfather, John Magruder";son John Smith Magruder, Black Oak Thicket and Covert; daughters, each aslave; remaining estate divided among his five children.

-to have the several tracts of land following: "Dublin" whereontestator's deceased father John Magruder lived cont. 250 acres and"Turkey Cock" or part of the "Vale of Benjamin" cont. 52 acres. "Beall'sBenevolence' cont. 126 acres, part of
"Duvall's Range" cont. 101 acres and 20 acres called "Beallfast" to bemade over by Ignatius Digges. Esq., in consequence of which the saidFrancis is to make over to Digges 42 acres of land called "The Slipe"
2. John Smith Magruder --son
-to have the following tracts of land: ."Black Oak Thicket Enlarged"cont. 183 acres
and whereon John Wood lives, "Davis's Improvement" cont. 112 1/2 acreswhereon John Brown lives with the "Addition" cont. 9 1/2 acres, "John'sLott" cont. 45 1/2 acres
"Haverston's Edge" cont. 498 acres "Covert' cont. 106 acres and New ParkEnlarged" cont 190 acres and the above lands are lo be rented and themoneys from the rent to
be applied to supporting and maintaining John
