John Boone Luckett after the death of his father settled in Prince William County, Virginia. There on April 29, 1789, with his wife Martha, he conveyed to William Carr for the consideration of £80 land lying on Quantico Creek. This land was apparently that which his grandfather, Samuel Luckett, in 1705, willed to his son Thomas which was described as 500 acres. The will of John Boone Luckett was proved in Prince William County, Virginia, on January 8, 1794, by Clement Woodward, Fanny Woodward, Tracy Crisman, and John Hedges. He willed that his estate be divided among his "children" by his wife Martha, the division to be made by his son, Fielder, at his coming of age. From the above, other children are inferred. No other Luckett wills were proved in Prince William County prior to 1877.
