By 1761 he married SARAH TANEY COLE, the daughter of EDWARD COLE, JR. and SARAH BROOKE TANEY . They resided at "Wallington".Death

I, Sarah Cole of CC, gentlewoman, am well of body and of perfect and sound memory, I will that, firstly, all my just debts be duly and truly paid, and I give 30 £ currency for the poor, to be distributed by my executor.
To my grandson James Fenwick - all the land I lease up in Pomonkey Neck [Pomonkey Point?], called Fishing Point, containing 4 acres, and the land I bought of Robert Gordon, at the head of Pomonkey Cr, containing 105 acres. I want sd James to pay to each of his brothers, Edward, Mile, Thomas, Nicholass, and Charles Fenwick, 50 £ currency, in consideration of the above bequeathed lands. I also give sd James the land I bought of Jos. Lantium on Piscattaway Cr.
To my granddaughter Sarah Fenwick - the land I bought of James Green. If, however, Sarah dies unmarried, then the land goes to my grandson, Charles Fenwick. I also give Sarah a Negro girl called Charity.
To my grandson Edward Fenwick - a Negro boy called Luke.
To my grandson Micle Fenwick - 2 Negro girls named Rachel & Cloe, and their increase.
To my grandson Thomas Fenwick - a Negro girl called Sarah, and her increase.
To my grandson Nicholass Fenwick - a Negro girl called Jayn and her increase.
To my grandson Charles Fenwick - the land I bought of Basil Smith's heirs, lying on Mattawoman [Cr]. I also give Charles 3 Negro boys called Jacob, Joseph, & Dick (children of Ben & Nan)
To my grandchildren, James, Sarah, Edward, Micle, Thomas, Nicholass, and Charles Fenwick - the rest of my estate, to be equally divided between them. If any of my grandchildren die underage, that part is to be equally divided between my surviving grandchildren.
Executor: my grandson James Fenwick. He may keep my whole estate in his hands until the several legatees become of age to receive their part.
