Jacob Op den Graeff

Jacob appears on record in 1701, in Germantown, when he was fined for "taking a horse out of coutody" or "Borrowing a neighbor's horse w/o permission". Abraham had to pay the costs of the legal action involved. He was a petitioner for the formation of the town of Skippack and Perkiomen, 1725. He purchased land there in 1721 from Van bebber, and conveyed it to his son, Abraham, and conveyed other land there to his son, Edward. The deedss suggest that he married again someone named Susannah. His children cited in his will incl Abraham, Edward, Elizabeth, Cathrina, Margaret and Enneken, and son-in-law Richard Gable. His eldest son, Abraham, belonged to Mennonite denomination that kept no records of marriages, etc, marriage date and maiden name of his wife unknown.

then Bucks County say, Married April 29, 1712 - Jacob op de graef, young
man born in Jermantown and now residing at Schipack and annchen ten heuven,
young woman born at Willem aen der Roer."
