The following biograhical sketch appeared in the book, "History of the Carter Family," pages 57-61, a contemporary (1924-1928) family history:"Evaline, daughter of Elza and Mary E. HINSHAW, was born 14 Oct 1876. She was a beautiful child, apt to learn and grew to womanhood in the old home community. On 4 Jan 1895 she was married to Austin GLOVER of Bloomingsport, IN where they resided until 1923. They have two children living and two dead. The living are Macil M. and Irvin. Eva is a devoted wife and mother and active in church and Sunday school work. After living near Richmond for a few years they moved back to Bloomingsport, where they now reside."
