Biographical Sketch
Richard SWAN came from England to Boston, Massachusetts Bay about 1634; removed to Rowley, MA in 1639. He was made a freeman in 1635 and became a representative to the General Court between 1666-1677. He participated in King Philip's War and an expedition to Canada.Endnotes
