William MOLL was a gunsmith and plied his trade as early as 1747. His great grandson, William*, has an heirloom descended from him, a device for cutting threads on screws, neatly made of iron, and bearing in plainly legible characters the inscription 'April 10, 1747 - W.M.'*William Henry MOLL, 1829-1889
