Death

Franklin Lee Caylor, Jr., 60, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2015 after a brave fight against lung cancer. He was born July 22, 1954 in Upperville, VA to Franklin Lee Caylor, Sr. and Rachel Furr Caylor. Frank graduated Fauquier High School, Warrenton, VA in 1972 and immediately followed his father's footsteps into the construction industry. After working many years as a Master Carpenter, he and his family moved to Florida in 1991 where he decided to pursue a career in commercial construction. He worked at Design Build 2000 for 18 years as Construction Superintendent. Frank married Joan Grimsley in 1978 and they were happily married for 37 years. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his sister, Frances Caylor Hawes. He is survived by his wife, Joan; son, Adam of Phoenix, AZ and sister Shelby Crisp of Spotsylvania, VA. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Hodges Funeral Home at Lee Memorial Park 12777 State Road 82 Fort Myers, FL on Saturday, July 25 at 3:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to Hope Hospice 9470 Health Park Cir.
