Death
Cornelius Jackson Furr Sr., age 63, died on Monday, August 17, 2015 in Charlottesville, Va. He is survived by his brother, Lawrence Richard Furr. He was preceded in death by his brother, Marshall Furr Jr. Cornelius was born on June 5, 1952 in Winchester, Va., to Marshall Furr and Frances Wiley. He completed 2 years of college and was currently enrolled at P.V.C.C. He worked for many years as an engineer. Cornelius became deeply involved in Albemarle Baptist Church starting in 2009 up until his death. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 beginning at 11 a.m. at Albemarle Baptist Church with a reception following in the church. Pastor Marcus Deloach will officiate. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Cornelius' life.
