Berry Jr., Lyle Ernest Of Kalamazoo Passed way on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Bronson Methodist Hospital. Age 65. Lyle was born in Kalamazoo on January 15, 1954, the son of the late Lyle Ernest Berry Sr. and Eleanor Kelly Berry. He worked in the roofing industry throughout most of his life. He married Sandra Lee (Furr) Berry on May 20, 1983; she preceded him in death February 7, 2019. He enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. He liked to build things outside in his garage. He is survived by four grandchildren, Austin Williams, Aaron Williams, Alex Williams and Samantha Williams; ten great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Berry, Karla Hassinger, Christine Stratton-Pritchett (Paul) and Kimberly Buurstra (Klaas); many nieces and nephews. According to his wishes Lyle's body was donated to the Anatomical Donation Program at the University of Michigan. A Celebration of Life will take place on October 23 at 4:00 p.m. at the Sugar Bowl Bar and Grill, 904 Washington Ave., Kalamazoo, MI 49001. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions May be given to the West Michigan Cancer Center.
