Death
Albert Sylvester Jamison, a native of Antietam, this county, died suddenly Wednesday evening at the Standard Lime and Stone plant, Bakerton, W.Va., where he was employed, aged 47. Born at Antietam, he was the son of the late Albert and Emma (Ebersole) Jamison and was the last member of his immediate family. He was a member of the Church of God, Bakerton. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Daisy Drenner Jamison; children: Mrs. Hunter Talley and Mrs. W.E. Miller, Jr., both of Shepherdstown; Mrs. Louis Lloyd, Bakerton; Misses Reva and Doris, Donald, Granville, Ray, Gerald, and Wayne, all at home; and Albert, Engle, W.Va.; and three grandchildren. Funeral services at the Bakerton Church of God Saturday at 1 p.m., the Rev. John Myers assisted by the Rev. Samuel Kipe officiating. Interment in Mt. View Cemetery, Sharps burg. The body may be viewed at the home Friday until Saturday noon, when it will be taken to the church.Morning Herald, Hagerstown, Maryland, December 23, 1949
