Death
Mrs. Sallie M. Thomas, widow of the late William Phineas Thomas, died suddently at her home near Watson on Friday evening, November 28, aged 68. Her funeral was preached on Sunday at 12:30 in the Mt. Zion church, where she had been a faithful member for many years, by the Rev. H.H. Lefferts. Her remains were laid to rest in the nearby graveyard, her four sons and two nephews acting as pallbearers. She is survived by seven children, Clarence R. and Margaret S., of Charlottesville; Chas. W., of near Aldie; Mabel E., of Leesburg, Henry P. of Washington, and John G., and Susie R. Thomas, at home; four grandchildren, Vestal, Stuart, Rector and Julia Thomas, three brothers, J.T. & E.V. Riticor, of near Watson, and C.F. Riticor, of near Oatlands, and many other relatives and friends.The Mirror, Leesburg, Virginia, December 3, 1919
