Death
Jo Ann Patrick, 73, of Grottoes, passed away at her home on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. Jo Ann worked in Bridgewater for attorney Grant Richardson for many years before retiring due to illness. Jo Ann was born in Rockingham county on April 16, 1947 to the late Ralph Joseph (Joe) and Thelma Furr. On October 20, 1987, Jo Ann was united in marriage to Michael Patrick, who survives. Also surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Christa and Lyn Hall, of Grottoes; two grandsons, Tyler and Dylan, of Grottoes; and two brothers, Joey Furr of McGaheysville, and Doug Furr of Staunton. A private burial will be held at a later date.Endnotes
