Death
Nancy L. Myers, 84, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, with her loving family by her side. Born February 4, 1932, Valparaiso, IN, the daughter of Clay W. and Virginia (Furr) Harmon. Graduated from Liberty Township High School, Class of 1950. Married Robert E. Myers on December 12, 1950, he predeceased her July 29, 1997. During her life she was a homemaker raising her loving children. Later she worked for Dr. Charles P. Smith and volunteered at SwedishAmerican nursery. Nancy enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and camping in their mobile home, being a camp ground host at Rock Cut, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Survivors include children, Bonnie (Donovan) Moore, Jeff (Mary Ann) Myers and Linda (Timothy) Carter; grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris) Denzer, Bryan (Marla) Bennett, Jeremy (Stephanie) Myers, Jorden (Kari) Myers, Sarah (John) Hall and Beth (Eric) Jensen; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Madelyn, Aiden, Milania, Logan, Arianna and Cole; brother, Keith Harmon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents, husband, brother, Gene Harmon and sister, Patsy Tiemann. The family would like to give a special thanks to all her caretakers at the KeenAge Center, with a special thank you to Penny, in addition the physicians, nurses and staff at Swedish American Hospital CSU Pod 4C for their compassionate care.
