Death
Millard E. “Midge” Ochier, 77, died at 11:25 p.m. April 26, 2010, at Lima Memorial Health System. He was born May 22, 1932, in Hardin County to William and Almeda Cozad Ochier, who preceded him in death. He married Evelyn Barker, who died Oct. 29, 1993. On Aug. 6, 1994, he married Priscilla Dysert, who survives. Mr. Ochier retired from Rockwell International, Kenton, after 36 years. He was a graduate of McGuffey High School. He was a member of McGuffey Church of Christ. He was a life member of the Kenton Bowling Association. He enjoyed traveling. Survivors also include a daughter, Rhonda (Doug) Hord, of Kenton; a son, Robert “Bob” (Roberta) Ochier, of Kenton; three grandsons, Rob (Amy) Ochier, Ryan (Carla) Ochier and Damon Hord; two stepsons, Gregory (Carla) Dysert and Ken (Bridgette) Dysert, both of Ada; six stepgrandchildren, Heather Dysert, Brooke (Jason) Carter, Kendra Dysert, Kara Dysert, Zack Dysert and Brandon Dysert; three stepgreat-grandchildren, Jeremy Faeth, Lila Carter and Virginia Faeth; a brother, Bill Ochier, of Kenton; and a sister, Sheila Parks, of Wharton. He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Scott Johnson and the Rev. Rick Grayshock will officiate. Burial will be in Grove Cemetery, Kenton. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
