Pansy Trippett Starkey, 90, of Grantsville, died Saturday, Nov. 5, 1994, at her son's residence after an extended illness. She was born in Calhoun County, a daughter of the late Lemuel and Icy Shimer Trippet. She was a homemaker, and a member of Knotts Memorial United Methodist Church, Grantsville. Surviving are one daughter, Vivian Manson of Parkersburg; one son, William B. Starkey of Grantsville; one sister Gladys Marshal of Grantsville; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tillman Starkey; and one sister, Ethel Ferrell. Services were schedule Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at Stump Funeral Home, Grantsville, with Rev. John L. Smith officiating, and burial in Barr Cemetery, near Millstone.Endnotes
