Death

Barbara Ann Heaton, of Ruskin, Florida, passed away on October 5, 2021, with her loving husband of 51 years by her side. Barbara Heaton was born to William and Dorothy Furr (Bettis) on March 10, 1951, in Leesburg, Virginia and completed her education at Loudoun County High School in 1969. She was an honors student and a member of the National Honor Society at Loudoun County High School. Barbara is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert Heaton. Barbara and Robert were married on August 1, 1970, in Leesburg, Virginia. Barbara is survived by her two children Michael Heaton (Barbara) of Brandon, Florida and Kelli Heaton of Riverview, Florida and a younger brother William Furr (Darcy) of Richmond, Virginia, grandchildren, Nicole Gockley, (Jeff) of Sarasota, Jeffrey Harris and great granddaughter, Alyssa and many nieces and nephews. Family was the center of her world. She dedicated her life to her family. She took pride in being a wife and a mother and providing them with a loving and nurturing home. She was a lover of music, art and poetry. While she led a simple life with her family she was always interested in the new ways of the younger generations. There will be a private family interment on November 2, 2021, at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
