Death

Joshua J. Hefner, age 24 of Lima, passed Friday, May 20, 2016 in Lima. He was born May 9, 1992 in Lima, Ohio to Jason L. Hefner of Wapakoneta and Wendy D. Furr Agozzino of Lima. On August 2, 2013 he married Brianne Kay Elizabeth Mathewson, who survives. Joshua worked at Wilson Sporting Goods in Ada and enjoyed fishing. He loved time spent with his children and dog, Marley. Survivors also include his father and step mother – Jason L. (Jennie) Hefner of Wapakoneta; his mother and step father – Wendy D. (Josh) Agozzino of Lima; a son – Wyatt L. Hefner at home; 2 daughters - Paidynn Schute-Hefner of Wapakoneta; Maliya L. Hefner at home; a brother – Jonathan Michael L. Hefner of Wapakoneta; 2 sisters – Laken R. Agozzzino of Lima; Natalie L. Hefner of Wapakoneta; a mother-in-law – Carole Mathewson of Lima; paternal grandparents – Rick and Cynthia Hefner of Wapakoneta; maternal grandparents – Becky and Pete McPeron of Elida and Rick Furr of Kenton. Funeral services will begin 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, Dr. Daniel Messner will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Matthew Cemetery, near Cridersville. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice.
