Death
BERKELEY SPRINGS, W.Va. - Daisy Phyllis Furr, 94, formerly of Valley View Nursing Home, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, at Berkeley Springs Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Berkeley Springs. Born June 3, 1911, in Toms Brooks, Va., she was the daughter of the late Andrew Nelson and Ila Cronk Jenkins. She was a Catholic. She is survived by two daughters, Betty L. Turner of Berkeley Springs and Bonnie K. Furr of Utica, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Onida McDonald. Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Grove Funeral Home in Hancock. The Rev. Joseph Cosgrove will officiate. Burial will be in Spohrs Cross Roads Cemetery in Berkeley Springs. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 2014 Boyd Orchard Road, Martinsburg, WV 25401.Endnotes
