Death

SALISBURY — Dorothy Elizabeth Furr Watson, 90, of Salisbury died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury. Born on Aug. 16, 1920, in Charles Town, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Raymond Furr and Myrtle Clipp Furr. She worked in the banking industry in Ellicott City, Md., and Charles Town for 15 years as a teller and bookkeeper, retiring in 1965. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener, she also loved her pet cockerspaniels, "Champ" and "Mickey."  She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Elaine Watson Marshall and her husband, Randy, of Salisbury; a son, Donald Eugene Watson and his wife, Robin, of Elkridge; eight grandchildren, Steve, Scott, Shawn, Jake, Robert, Stacey, Sara and Tim; and 16 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Loundes Watson, in 1983. A private memorial service will be held at the Marshall family home at 32214 Shavox Road in Salisbury, with a private committal at the Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
