Death
FOWLER -- Maxine Daily, 86, of Fowler, died at 5:30 a.m. Monday, June 5, 2006, at Green Hill Manor Nursing Home. Born Feb. 21, 1920, to the late Delbert E. and Minnie C. Copenhaver Furr in Fowler, she was a 1938 graduate of Fowler High School. She married Charles "Buck" Daily on May 21, 1938, in Goshen, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 1999. Mrs. Daily worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for 17 years at Senesac Inc., and for 10 years at Nally Brothers Inc., both in Fowler. She was a member of Fowler United Methodist Church, a 60-year member and former president of American Legion Auxiliary Post 57 and was a 60-year member of Order of Eastern Star 493. Surviving are a son, Charles Daily Jr. (wife: Sally) of Crown Point; and two daughters, Kaye Rosenbarger and Sharon Anderson (husband: Cal), both of Fowler. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. service Wednesday, June 7, 2006, at Fowler United Methodist Church, Pastor Peggy Good officiating. Interment Fowler Cemetery. Surviving are 7 grandchildren, Susan Daily of Crown Point, Drew Daily (wife: Tina) of Gosport, Dick Rosenbarger (wife: Karie) and Matt Rosenbarger, both of Fowler, Chris Anderson (wife: Rachael) of Bloomington, Craig Anderson (wife: Brenda) of Zionsville and Traci Davies (husband: Chris) of West Lafayette; and 16 great-grandchildren, Abigail and Audrey Daily, Tyler And Tanner Rosenbarger, Janelle, Collette and Marissa Rosenbarger, Calvin and Nick Anderson, Teresa, Kelsey, Kyle, and Kenzie Anderson and Tiffani, Trisha and Taylor Carlile. Preceded in death by her grandson, Michael Rosenbarger; and son-in-law, William Rosenbarger. Memorials to Center Township Fire Dept. or Fowler United Methodist Church.
