Death
CLARKSBURG -- Ruby B. Thompson, 80, of Prindle Drive, Smyrna, Tennessee, died Friday, April 15, 2005, in Nashville, Tennessee. Mrs. Thompson was retired from Dunn Brothers of Dallas, Texas, as a bookkeeper. She was born in Glenville, June 29, 1924, a daughter of the late Jesse and Nellie Hess Furr. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Emwood Thompson. Also surviving are one sister, Susan Randall, West Milford; one niece, Carrie Russell and her husband Jim, Clinton, Ohio; five nephews, Jessie and Kevin Jenkins, Smyrna, Tennessee, Larry Jenkins, West Milford, and Perry and Gary Jenkins, Mt. Clare. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marie Jenkins and Helen Snyder; five nephews; two nieces; and three brothers-in-law, Adron Jenkins, Robert Snyder and Ralph Randall. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Smyrna, Tennessee. Family and friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, One Olen Thomas Drive, Rt. 98, Clarksburg, Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 20, at noon. The Reverend Ron Heckert will officiate. Interment will be in the Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Davis Funeral Home.Endnotes
