Bobby Ray Love, 72, of Buckhannon died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital following an extended illness. He was born June 10, 1932 in Gilmer County, a son of the late Harry and Eva McLain Love. On Aug. 9, 1974 he married Biddie Mae Frame, who survives. In addition, he is survived by one son, Aaron Ray Love of Morgantown; one step-son, Bobby D. Furr of Weston; three daughters, Winona Kay Wood and husband Philip of Richmond, Va., Bobbie Jean Greene and husband William of Richmond and Patricia "Pat" Robinson of Stouts Mills; one brother, Jimmy Love and wife Jo Ann of Ohio; five grandchildren, Alexandra Grace Love, Amy Conrad, Jennifer Lowther, William "Boo" Greene and Daniel Greene; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers. Mr. Love was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was employed at B&O Railroad in the early 1950s and retired from Barbour Coal in 1983. He was a member of Mountaineer Car Collectors and loved restoring antique vehicles. He enjoyed visiting friends and neighbors and was a Christian. Service is 2 p.m. Thursday at Stockert-Gibson Funeral Home, Flatwoods with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating. Burial will be in Big Run Cemetery, Napier. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
